To trade gift cards on Redeeem, you must use Credits and Earnings.

Credits are how we trade escrow for Buyers, and Earnings are how we trade escrow payments to Sellers.
 

Rules about Credits

  • Credits are exclusively used by Buyers.
  • You must buy Credits first to then buy gift cards.
  • You buy Credits with Bitcoin or other cryptos.
  • Credits cannot be transferred to bitcoin.
  • Credits are non refundable, non transferable, and do not expire.

Rules about Earnings

  • Earnings are exclusively used for Sellers.
  • Earnings can be transferred into bitcoin (and no other currency).
  • Earnings are held at USD value until transferred to bitcoin.
  • You receive earnings when your gift card is successfully sold.
  • Credits are non transferable to other Redeeem accounts.
  • Payouts from Earnings to bitcoin includes a small blockchain miner fee.
  • Earnings do not expire.

Rules about Rewards

  • Rewards are exclusively used to track payment to affiliates.
  • Rewards can only be paid out in bitcoin.
  • Users must have $10 in rewards before submitting a payout.
  • Rewards cannot be transferred internally.
  • Rewards do not expire.

Rules about your Bitcoin wallet

  • Redeeem offers a free self-custody wallet for connivence.
  • The bitcoin wallet is not necessary for buying or selling gift cards.
