We have a KYC process (know your customer) to verify the identity of our buyers and sellers after a trading threshold. This is very standard across all financial technology companies, including crypto companies.

Redeeem uses a trusted 3rd party partner, Civic.com, to do the identity checks.

Redeeem does not store, or ever have access to your sensitive personal identity documents. In fact, Civic use blockchain tokens so you only have to get your Civic account approved once and then you can use it anywhere Civic is accepted for KYC.

See the Civic FAQ for all common questions regarding the app.

Open the "identity" section of your Redeeem account to complete KYC.
